Balsa collects the following personal data depending on the contact channel: full name, company or organization name, email address, phone number, postal address (when applicable for shipments), reason for contact, and message content. We do not collect sensitive data as defined by Law 1581 of 2012.

Personal data will be used for the following purposes: responding to information requests, quotations, and commercial inquiries; managing and executing commercial agreements and production orders; coordinating shipments and product deliveries; sending communications related to Balsa's services (with prior authorization); improving the user experience on our website; complying with legal obligations and requirements from competent authorities; and managing commercial relationships with clients and suppliers.

The request must include: full name of the data subject, identification document, description of the facts and rights to be exercised, and correspondence address or email for response. Balsa will respond to inquiries within ten (10) business days of receipt. Claims will be addressed within fifteen (15) business days, in accordance with the law.

Balsa implements reasonable technical, administrative, and human measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or destruction. Measures adopted include: access control for databases and information systems, digital information security protocols, and staff training on proper data handling.
